Waking up at 4 in the morning, my mom, sister, cousin and I got ready to take the bus to Ho Tram beach together with other family members. We decided to go this early to avoid the traffic. Since we would be driving in a van, it would be hard to travel around because there are so many motorcycles on the road.
Next to my grandma's house my uncle lives with his family. His two children went with us as well. So as soon as we were ready, we went there to pick them up and walk to the van with them. The van would be driven by a man who my aunt hired. We told him to meet us in front of the church near my grandmother's house, where we also met up with family member's from the other side of the family.
We then left in the van, but found out there still were more people than there was space, so I decided to be nice and sit on this box of bottled water the whole 2,5 hour trip. During the trip to Ho Tram, everyone fell asleep. So I was on my own trying to stay comfortable.
At around 8.30 we arrived at the beach, which was really empty. We decided to eat some food before swimming. After eating, all of the teens went swimming while the adults stayed behind and took care of the stuff. There wasn't really anything to do, so we just swam. But when my cousin found out that there were tiny fishes, all of us tried to catch them. But they were so fast that catching them with bare hands wouldn't work. We eventually used some plastic cups and bags and managed to catch many fishes.
After we were done swimming at the beach, we went to the resort's pool. Here we swam around, took many polaroids and just played around a lot.
The trip really got me closer to my cousins, so it was really nice. Although I'm staying next to two of my cousins, I never talked to them before this trip. Now we're close, hug and talk a lot more.
After a while we decided that we'd call it a day and head home. First we contemplated on going to a spa, but since everyone was too tired out, we decided against it. We took a few stops during the trip. We got some ice cream and just hung out.
Back home we all went back to our own homes to take naps. After some time, my sister and I woke up to go around town with my cousins at night. We met up and went to this cafe where fishes would eat off all dead skin on your feet. I was really scared because once you put your feet in, they get swarmed with the fishes that start eating the skin. The feeling was weird, which made me want to pull my feet out. Eventually I got more used to it and quietly sat around while watching the fishes.
